By boat it is only a stone’s throw from Ibiza to the small neighbouring island of Formentera. In perfect beach weather we took some great pictures for you.
Lake Garda (in Italian Lago di Garda or Bènaco), one of the lakes in northern Italy, is the largest lake in Italy. Its ancient name was Lacus benacus from about 200 BC to 800 AD. The name is said to derive from an ancient deity called Benacus. Lake Garda was formed by a side branch of the Etsch glacier in the past ice age, the traces of which can still be seen today, in particular by the terminal moraines around the southern shore, e.g. at Lonato del Garda, Solferino, Valeggio sul Mincio and Custoza. The first settlements on the lake shore date back to 2000 BC.
Also on Fuerteventura the daily workout should not be missed. The islands are perfect for jogging and swimming. A good sun protection for the skin is very important in the southern regions.
